Does one licence really cover all my companies?
Yes. A licence is a seat for one user, and that user can link an unlimited number of Fortnox companies to the same connection. This is the difference from the single-company connectors, where each user needs a licence per Fortnox company.
Which AI clients does it work with?
Any client that speaks MCP: Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and more. The licence is independent of the client, so you can use one today and switch tomorrow without buying anything new.
How is it billed?
By Sidcom, by card, 249 kr per user and month or 2 390 kr per user and year, excluding VAT. It does not go on your Fortnox invoice. You manage seats, billing and invoices yourself at fortnox.sidcom.ai.
How does the free trial work?
Every new organisation gets 7 days free, no card needed. When the trial ends, nothing is charged. Access simply stops until you choose to start a subscription.
How does an accounting firm work with it?
Each consultant gets a seat and links the client companies they work with, signing in with their own Fortnox user per company. Permissions and traceability follow that Fortnox user in each client, exactly as if they were working in Fortnox directly.
Can the AI compare my companies?
Yes. Ask one question across your connected companies, such as which clients have overdue supplier invoices, and get one consolidated answer. Comparisons cover up to 12 companies per question.
We already have Claude or ChatGPT connector licences. Should we switch?
If you work in a single Fortnox company, keep them, they are the simpler buy at 99 kr per user and company via the Fortnox marketplace. When the same people work across several companies, one Multi-Company seat is usually cheaper from about three companies, and much simpler to manage.
What happens when someone leaves the firm?
Remove them under Members at fortnox.sidcom.ai. Their company links and AI connections are revoked immediately, and their seat can be assigned to someone else.
Is my clients' data safe?
The books stay in Fortnox. Data passes through the connection while a question runs and is not stored at Sidcom. Fortnox sign-in tokens are encrypted, no passwords are stored, and a data processing agreement is available on request.
Connection not working?
Check that the free app is activated in Fortnox App Market for the company, and that you hold a seat. The quickest check is to ask your assistant about your licence. It can read your organisation's status, trial and seats even when everything else is blocked.
