What can Claude do in Fortnox?
Essentially all of Fortnox is available. Claude can search customers, suppliers and invoices, see what's paid and unpaid, create customer invoices, post entries, approve supplier invoices for payment, and export bookkeeping data as SIE files. You approve every write in the app before it is sent.
Can Claude change my books without me?
No. Claude proposes changes and your Claude app asks for your approval before writes are sent to Fortnox.
Is my data safe?
Yes. You sign in with Fortnox OAuth and Sidcom never stores your password. Claude only acts within your existing Fortnox permissions, and all changes are made through your own Fortnox user and show up in Fortnox.
Which Claude apps does it work with?
Claude Desktop, Claude Code and the Claude mobile apps.
How is a license counted?
A license is a user seat in one Fortnox company. If you use Claude across several Fortnox companies you need a license per company. Fortnox checks your license and permissions each time you connect.
